SELECT
The select branch of the IST program currently consists of a U11 boys' team for the Fall '26 and Spring '27 seasons.
This program is a continuation of the framework established in the Academy program (technical base, introduction to positions, tactical understanding) with an increased emphasis on positioning as the field size and the number of players increases. Players can expect to grow in their understanding of the game through being challenged in practices and games to get out of their comfort zone. Development is the main emphasis of this program by creating a more competitive team environment and by creating a safe place to make mistakes.
- Team placement is based on player ability using a tryout and bid process in June of every year.
- Teams are coached by both a professional coach and licensed assistant coaches
- Teams play 9v9 (includes Goal Keeper) games Saturdays or Sundays throughout the season
- Training sessions will be held three times per week with the expectation that players attend at least two sessions per week
- Training sessions are led by a licensed professional coach with the help of assistant coaches for each team
- Travel for games is required
- Jerseys for Select teams will be the same as our current rec jerseys
Select cost: $350 per season
Fees include:
2-3 Training sessions per week lead by professional coaching staff and licensed assistant coaches
6-8 games per season
1 tournament per season
