Becoming a Referee

The Soccer Tribe will reimburse the cost of the course after each ref has refereed 10 games for us. We will also reimburse the recertification fee each year after 10 games have been refereed that year. However, obtaining a referee uniform is the responsibility of each ref. A good website for purchasing a referee uniform is here:

Current pay rates:
U8: Center ref: $15, no sideline ref (RDP only)
- 2x20 min halves, 5 min halftime: 45 mins total
U9/U10: Center ref: $25, sideline ref: $20
- 2x 25 min halves, 10 min halftime: 60 mins total
U11/U12: Center ref: $35, sideline ref: $25
- 2x 30 min halves, 10 min halftime: 70 mins total
U13/U14: Center ref: $45, sideline ref: $30
- 2x 35 min halves, 15 min halftime: 85 mins total
U15/16: Center ref: $55, sideline ref: $35
- 2x 40 mins halves, 15 min halftime: 95 mins total
U17+: Center ref: $65, sideline ref: $40
- 2x45 min halves, 15 min halftime: 105 mins total
